For this special London project, we completely transformed the existing layout to create a functional yet stylish kitchen, suitable for the whole family to enjoy. We started the design process by changing the configuration of the space from a U-shape to a gallery kitchen and added French doors, bringing the light in and opening up the room. Bespoke floor-to-ceiling cupboards conceal utility appliances, providing a streamlined look as well as hiding clutter. The owner is passionate about her garden, so to add a personal touch, we incorporated a window seat to allow a view directly into the outside space. Neutral tones are paired with washed oak, marble and fluted glass, adding a contemporary look and feel to this calm and tranquil kitchen.
